Great hotel with free Wi-Fi, beach access, and attentive staff. They even helped me exchange money during my first visit. Highly recommend making use of the spa and pools. I'm coming back for a holiday!

The room was reasonably large, with exceptionally comfortable bed and a shower, hair dryers, and a spa bathtub in the bathroom. The location was marvellous and brilliant, close enough to a lovely mall and street market outside with many souvenir and food stalls and where there is a lot to do, in a tourist area.

The rooms were a nice size and had an absolutely stunning view of the calm ocean out front. The location not too far from city centre was best possible and quiet.

Incredibly friendly staff and a awesome breakfast selection were highlights of my vacays. The beach was a delight was nice. I encountered issues with the jacuzzi not working and inconsistent towel management around the pool with some stress . The cleanliness of the bathroom fixtures left something to be desired.

Beautifully kept place, exceptionally helpful staff especially San the Restaurant Manager who ran an efficient service. Clean pool, best possible and quiet location so close to the town with all the restaurants. Brand-new deluxe room with the bedroom, a king bed, for instance.

Location on the beach, grounds and pool areas were awesome.
For a 5 star hotel the rooms need updating.

It has a great central location close to all shops, markets, restaurants and bars. The hotel was of very good standard, the breakfast excellent with lots of choice, the staff very friendly and helpful. The pools and gardens well maintained. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would return.

The food was really fantastic and the resort is nicely designed. I have used the Spa only one time and that was also good and relaxing. The bar tenders at the beach bar were able to make really good cocktails. Normally I don't like the in-house entertainment, but that was unexpectedly good as well.
Although I was aware (Booked.net) upfront of the fireworks at the beach I can imagine that it is disturbing especially if you have small children. What I did not like in particular of the hotel are the hotel beds. The matresses are old fashioned and do not give as much comfort than any other hotel I have been. I thought matresses with steel coil springs were outdated. The extra bed at the window gives more comfort. Please change this and then I would like to come back.

Great location on the beach, convenient to explore the town, go shopping, restaurants etc.The resort had a lovely ambiance to it. The staf was attentive and helpful
We've booked a Premier room- we expected more luxury. The towels were old and frail. For 2 mornings we had no hot water and just after some complaint it was fixed.

We just arrived home from Koh Samui where we stayed at the Chaweng Regent Beach Resort. It was my first overseas holiday and I have nothing but nice words to say about this Resort. The staff are wonderful, the surroundings are relaxing and peaceful, the gym, restaurant, bar and other facilities are fantastic and the location is perfect. I am planning to return again next year and will without a doubt, stay at this same Resort.

Very nice hotel. Well appointed deluxe room. The Red Snapper restaurant in the hotel is excellent - we highly recommend it. Beautiful location on the beach of the other restaurant where buffet breakfast is served. Lovely pool area.
Our only complaint of an otherwise lovely four day visit is that the coffee is really dire. Both ordered off the menu and at the buffet breakfast.

Amazing team and beautiful beach!
Our villa was super spacious, and the beachfront was just perfect. The breakfast spread was bomb too! May, the manager. Only thing was the walkways could be slippery when wet, so watch your step!

The garden (Square) pool is excellent, along with the location next to the beach. Lots of deck chairs.
Could Improve their food quality compared to other hotels within the region.

The location was perfect, you are so close to all the shops, restaurant and bars yet still on the beach front and is as quiet or as loud as you want it to be. The (second) room we were in was lovely with a massive comfy bed. The high-touches this hotel has to offer are some of the best I have ever seen.
I emailed the resort to request an upgrade before we went but they didn't respond which I thought was quite bad. The first room we were put in was horrible and right next to all the construction work, to say the least I was very dissapointed, but we were moved to a lovely room the next day over looking the pool. Pay the extra and get a nice room it will make a big difference! Drinks and food are fairly expensive at this resort compared to what else is around, also the bars close at 6pm and 8pm which is a bit silly but there is plenty else around.
